All trails below Mid Mountain Doubletrack and the Landing are open with the exception of Harper’s Hollow that is still holding large amounts of snow. South Boundary and Basic Training are open to Murphy Junction and Berm N Ernie is open off the top. All other trails are still holding large, impassible patches of snow and are muddy. Please respect closures and stay on open tails.
A few reminders about using JMR trails
- No horses allowed on the trails
- Please remember to follow trail etiquette!
Miles of Trails
Explore some of the states premier single track winding through the meadows and Ponderosa forest at the base of Jughandle Mountain. The terrain offers something for everyone whether you’re a beginner out to enjoy the rolling, buffed out singletrack to an expert looking for technical features or fast flowy descents. Our trail system at Jug Mountain Ranch is free of charge, however, we invite you to finish your day at the Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar (yes, we love our dust-covered bikers!) in support of continued trail building and maintenance. And don’t forget your protective gear as Jug’s trails are for use at your own risk!

Miles of MOUNTAIN BIKING trails to explore year round. SINGLE track trails exhilarate in summer and fall while FAT BIKES rule on our groomed trails in winter and spring. Dogs welcome!
In order to protect guests and our drivers, we have made the difficult decision to cancel shuttle service for the season.
