Jug Mountain Ranch Golf Course
“We are thrilled to represent Idaho and the McCall area with this great course,” said David Carey. “Our goal has always been to showcase the Ranch’s natural beauty and it is clear that this area has become a true destination for golf.”
The Ranch represents a different brand of golf, where everyone is welcome to experience the challenge and thrill of golf in McCall. Every golfer, social or competitive, enjoys gorgeous panoramic views of Jughandle Mountain, the Ranch’s natural wetlands, old growth forests, and the rolling hills of the East Valley.
Jug Mountain Ranch is proud to have been ranked as the second best new public course by Golf Digest our opening year, based on shot values, design variety, resistance to scoring, memorability, and aesthetics. Since that time, the course continues to land on top ten lists across the country including Golfweek’s List of Best Courses You Can Play.
New par 3 course!
Jug Mountain Ranch is excited to announce a new six-hole, par three course adjacent to the current practice facility. This new par three course is designed by Don Knott, the original designer on the Jug Mountain Ranch golf course. “This is a very deliberate, well-designed addition to Jug Mountain Ranch,” says David Carey, owner and general manager, “and we are excited to be able to work with Don again to create something new and fun for the community.”
The par three course will add to the existing practice facility which includes a driving range, chipping green, and putting green. “The par three is really accessible for any golfer,” says Dustin Ames, Jug Mountain Ranch Golf Pro. “You can grab two clubs and play the whole thing. It is perfect to walk with the kids or play with a group of friends.”
Opening Spring 2024
Designed by Donald Knott, whose previous work as project architect for Robert Trent Jones II Group includes the widely acclaimed Links at Spanish Bay (Pebble Beach), Rancho La Quinta, Sun Valley Resort, and more than 60 other courses around the world.
Jug Mountain Ranch is a world-class course that respectfully takes advantage of the land, water, trees, and wild life nature provided. That’s why we believe this is just possibly the best golf course in the world. But don’t take our word for it; tee one up and experience it yourself.
